Mercier Music | DJ ShaneOMac

sic. We decided to add in his videography service. We even planned a surprise moment were I broke out a guitar and sang to my wife to be. The event was a great success overall. The downside started after the honeymoon. To be fair he did say we’d have to be patient with the videography as he really takes time to edit. After 11 months I finally got a link to view. It was great! He put together a montage of the event with the audio of the song I preformed. It was epic! I had a sense of relief that he was coming through on his promises. Along with the link he sent me a text and said “Ok so I’m about to send you the link on YouTube for my version. I’ll be sending you the version without intro and full ceremony/speeches on a thumb drive in the mail.“ this is where a long span of radio silence began. In April it will be 3 years since we got married. My wife and I have tried to reach out via text, calls, Facebook and his website. All of which have been ignored. It’s a shame because this could’ve been a 5 star review.

ead, and almost conduct the vibe. Shane just has that gift and he's just so in tune, and it allowed the music to elevate the reception so much for us. He's also just terrific to work with. From our initial meetings, he won us over with his DJ philosophy and approach, he was very patient and attentive to our vision of the event and how music tied in (we are musically very pick and Shane picked up on our taste fairly quickly), and on the day he didn't miss a beat. We even had live musicians playing the ceremony and parts of the reception who singled Shane out as extremely professional and even helpful & attentive to their needs. That in itself speaks volumes about his mentality- that he understands what an important day it is for you, and he'll make other vendor's lives easier if it means ensuring your day delivers.

morning of the wedding). He helped us think through and reorganize our run of show, including perfectly integrating a few live songs played by my brother in law! Shane took on our music request with excitement, especially after hearing we wanted house music that could somehow vibe with guests of all ages. To no surprise, Shane created the set of our dreams! The dance floor didn’t slow down for a second and had both kids and grandparents dancing until the last song…and then the last song after that when the full floor chanted for one more!! Beyond excited to recommend Shane to everyone we know and come up with another excuse to celebrate and have him DJ!!

ne loved the set list all night which kept everyone on the dance floor! Shane knew when to change the songs, knew what every eye contact/head bob meant. We even had a moment where small children were being chased by their parents and he played the perfect chase song without even missing a beat! If you want an attentive, knowledgeable, easy going DJ that keeps everyone on their feet, Shane is definitely your guy! 12/10 recommend!

a breeze. He was confident, organized, and really listened to what we wanted, which made the whole process so much less stressful. Knowing we had him running the show on our big day let us just relax and enjoy every moment. The reception was an absolute blast! The dance floor was packed all night, and Shane kept the energy high with the perfect mix of music. Our guests had so much fun dancing, and we’re still hearing about how amazing the party was. On top of that, the Photo Booth was a huge hit! People couldn’t get enough of it, and we love having all the hilarious pictures as memories from the night. If you’re looking for someone who’s professional, fun, and truly knows how to throw a party, Shane is your guy. Thank you for making our wedding unforgettable!

rfect. He set the vibe for every moment, and when it came time to hit the dance floor—WOW! The lighting was on point, and the energy was through the roof. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how much fun they had. Shane kept everyone dancing all night long, and he somehow played exactly what we wanted without us even having to ask. It was like he could read the room and just knew what would keep the party going. If you’re looking for a DJ who’s going to bring the fun, keep the dance floor packed, and make your wedding unforgettable, Shane is your guy. Thank you for helping us throw the party of our lives!

tional service! Fast forward to wedding day, from setting up for the ceremony audio to the actual reception Shane was amazing. My guests said he was the best DJ they’ve ever had at a wedding, and literally are still talking about how much fun they had. Also just saw the video and WOW it did not disappoint!!! The attention to detail is “chefs kiss”. So thankful he captured all our moments to relive now!! 12/10 would recommend him for your wedding!!

nd respectful, making us feel like valued clients. The sound quality and song selection the day-of was excellent. Shane interacted with our guests and could read the room, knowing just when to transition the music from our first dance into the next activity. He kept the style of music going that appealed to all our guests, from young to old. Shane's ability to read the room and keep all age groups engaged really made for an interactive and fun reception. We were extremely pleased with Shane's services for our special day and highly recommend Mercier Music Weddings and Events.

rooving! Not only was the music he played great but he was so professional and helpful! 10/10

night. His professionalism shone through every aspect of his performance, from the second he got to the venue to the last moment of the final song. Shane is an expert at reading the crowd and maintains a high-energy and fun atmosphere until the very last second. Shane helped us plan before the ceremony, facilitated the night's schedule, and kept the party going! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ to make our special day unforgettable! I can't recommend him enough!

ease booking with him. Never did I doubt Shane would be amazing but he absolutely killed it at our wedding. All of my friends were raving about the music and the dance floor was full all night.

helped make our day so special. Leading up the wedding we have several meetings and he was a great communicator and provided a bunch of recommendations we ended up using. On the day of he worked so well with our other vendors and the staff at Regatta place and was instrumental in making our day stress free. When it came time to open up the dance floor he didn’t disappoint and his energy translated to a packed floor from start to finish!! Thank you Shane from Devon and I for making our big day so special Photo credits: lanecarolinephotography

of music from start to finish. The dancefloor was full the ENTIRE night. The way he chose songs and mixed them was incredible. He also interacted with the crowd in fun ways. Even weeks after our wedding our friends and family are still raving about him saying he is the best DJ they have ever heard. We are SO thankful to have found Shane and would recommend him a thousand times.

n out of ten!

ing our day perfect. And the wedding video he created captured the day beautifully, we can’t stop watching it! The best wedding dj & videographer you could ask for!

uplighting and videography services. His strategic placement of the uplighting really accentuated the ambience of our venue. The video came out amazing and was exactly what we wanted. When it came to his DJ/MC skills—forget about it! He brought the heat (great music), really captivated people’s attention and had everyone movin’ and shakin’ all night long! His level of professionalism is unmatched. The dedication to his craft is unparalleled and it truly shows. Plus, he’s an awesome person, is very collaborative and great to work with. This is the DJ/MC you’ve been looking for and you will not be disappointed whatsoever. Thank you again for everything Shane!!

n to making our day epic was second to none. His DJ skills? Mind-blowing! He didn't just mix music; he orchestrated a symphony of beats and melodies, seamlessly blending tracks and whipping up impromptu mashups that had our guests losing their minds on the dance floor. The vibe he created was like no other – a non-stop, high-energy extravaganza that kept the party going all night long! And let's talk personality – Shane's charisma was off the charts! He wasn't just a DJ; he was the life of the party, mingling effortlessly with our guests and adding that extra spark that made our reception unforgettable. Plus, his knack for helping us organize not just the tunes but also other aspects of our big day was an absolute game-changer. In short, Shane didn't just meet our expectations; he blew them out of the water! If you want a DJ who's not only insanely talented but also brings an electric atmosphere and infectious enthusiasm to your wedding, Shane from Mercier Music Weddings is THE guy! Trust me; he'll turn your special day into a legendary celebration you'll never forget!

ses surrounded by a group of people. I saw that picture and thought YES, I want a wedding like that and I want to be just like her! Quickly within our first conversation I knew he was going to be our dj. He was easy to talk to and I could tell that he enjoys what he does and really wants to make his couples happy. He provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and everything was flawless! I’m a very picky person when it comes to music, ambiance and setting the mood. The music transitions were perfect during the ceremony and his mashups during the reception were awesome! He even offered a little toast after the speeches which was so sweet! He really understood the vibe we were going for and nailed it. Several people came up to us and said that the playlist was amazing and everyone had the best time! When you’re planning your wedding, you want people to match your happiness and excitement. Shane did that which meant a lot to me. I wish I could redo our wedding every year and hire Shane every single time. Professional, courteous and kind. We cannot recommend him enough!

int. Am so so glad I booked him. I’d you are looking for a serious party, book Shane !!

t that would never be forgotten by us and all of our guests. He made it very simple to help us select songs we absolutely wanted to hear and the ones that we didn't. When it came time for our big day, Shane was extremely well organized, came with well-performing equipment, worked greatly with our officiant and other vendors, and absolutely rocked the reception! We were surprised to see everyone, and we mean everyone, on the dance floor the entire night! He effortlessly blended various genres of music to keep the party going and played songs that all age groups could enjoy! During the reception and following our wedding, countless guests complimented how great Shane was! When we all thought he couldn't top the song he was playing, Shane shocked the crowd and played one even better! If you are looking for a DJ, look no further. Words cannot express how awesome Shane was! He is a super easy professional to get along with, and you can rest assured that he will make your night exactly the way you dreamed it to be! It was an honor to have Shane DJ our wedding and to support a fellow firefighter!

gh to say the least. From the moment I met Shane, I knew he was going to understand the assignment. There were so many times I looked around to see empty seats and a full dance floor. He brought the energy and the best vibes. Do yourself a favor and book him, I think we became best friends that night. 😬

in years! It was refreshing to know I didn’t have to worry when it came to the entertainment and timelines staying on track. He really knows his stuff! If you’re looking for someone to give their full attention to every detail and get everyone out of their chairs to party, Shane Mercier is your guy!!

fun and exciting. His energy and positivity is unmatched, which makes him so great and easy to work with. From the first calls and meetings, where he gets to know what type of wedding and music you want, to executing a fun and fluid party on the day of, he’s attentive and understanding the whole way through. What’s so cool about Shane was how excited he is to be at your wedding. He had to work with a bridal party of 11 bridesmaids and groomsmen.. not only did he keep us all in order, he pumped us all up and it felt like he was part of the party. We ended up having him stay an extra hour the night of our wedding because we weren’t ready for the party to stop. He checks in on you throughout the night to make sure all the music you want is being played, and he made sure I approved of requests for artists he knew I didn't want played. Shane really takes care of his clients and makes sure you feel great about your party!!

d we couldn’t believe how well Shane was able to read the crowd but also include the Portuguese music. He knew the best picks to play in addition to all the other recommendations he made and we loved. Shane reassured us everything would be amazing - and it was. Two days before the wedding, the venue changed the layout and plan but you would have never known with how Shane orchestrated such a seamless night. Shane has a true knack for gauging the crowd and knowing the best music to play - he really kept our party going all night!

t the amazing time they had. His music selection was perfectly aligned with what "flavor" we asked for. Thank you so much, Shane, for bringing our wedding vision to LIFE!!!! You exceeded our expectations!!!

t. The one where you’re at the bar ordering a drink and a song comes on and you run to the dance floor to bust it down. Well, Shane did just that PLUS some… four years ago, we met Shane at a Starbucks and it was “love at first song request” lol! We COVID eloped in 2020 and had our big vow ceremony on 10/1/22, so finally having Shane do his thing at our wedding was nothing short of amazing! He ensured all of my song requests, don’t-play requests & everything in between was played. He also managed to catch some sweet highlight video footage of some super memorable moments throughout the day. He came and visited me where I waited before the ceremony began and made me feel so comfortable and excited, some DJs don’t even come from behind their booths at a wedding. Shane is no longer just someone who worked at my wedding, but he’s now family. The guy dealt with all the craziness and partying from my friends and family that night and I couldn’t be any happier as to how everything went on our big day! I’m telling you, you won’t regret hiring Shane Mercier as your wedding DJ!

ere would be little, to no dancing. Boy were we wrong! Shane did such an amazing job mixing the songs we requested and picking songs based off the crowds energy. Everyone we see, says it was the best reception they have ever been to and the music was the life of the party! It was the absolute best day of our lives and the memory of dancing with all of our friends and family will be something we always cherish. We highly recommend Mercier Music and will definitely use them again for any events that require a DJ!

struggling with. He even accommodated a last minute uplighting snafu that we hadn't considered. Highly recommend DJ Shane!

not know what to look for. Obviously, good reviews but who knew there was so much else to consider, like type of vibe you want for your wedding/reception, type of music you want played for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. How much MCing there will be or will not be, someone who will listen to your every request. Shane checked off every, single, box. When Shane and I initially got in contact, we had a 45-minute phone consultation about the wants and needs of what my husband and I were looking for our reception. Shane new exactly the type of vibe we were looking for and was on the same page when it came to music choices for cocktail hour vs reception. He asked for us to send him 5 songs that we would want played at the reception during dance hours and he put a mix together with the songs so we could listen to how he transitioned them and kept the party flow going. We were immediately impressed and signed the contract with him the same day. Fast forward to a week or so before the reception, Shane sent us some forms to fill out with questions, must have songs and do not play song requests. When we met him at the reception venue on wedding day, he was there over an hour early to start setting up and when he was done putting all the equipment together, he changed into wedding attire to fit the dress code. Cocktail hour was soon underway, and Shane got the mood going with the music we asked for. Meanwhile, he walked around and got to know our guests, had a couple of appetizers, a beverage here and there, he even took some amazing video of the bride and groom (he should be a videographer on the side). We loved that he blended in and enjoyed himself, he got along with our friends and family as if he had been a lifelong friend. Once cocktail hour ended, Shane was there to keep our timeline moving with our first dance, mother and son dance, father and daughter dance, and we had a video we wanted played so he made sure to help set up the projector and connect to his sound system to ensure the whole crowd could hear. Shane did not miss a beat of what we needed all night long. He played all our must play songs and was sure to not play any of the songs on our do not play list. He kept the dance floor PACKED all night long, he even played 20 minutes after we were supposed to wrap up because so many people were having such a great time. I got compliments all night long from friends and family at how great the playlist of music was and how easy it was to stay on the dance floor the way Shane mixes his beats. We wanted a party and Shane delivered. We cannot thank Shane enough for providing us with an unforgettable evening.

ing some in. Having a small wedding, we were concerned our guests wouldn't have fun, with Shane, the dance floor was bumping the entire night!!! If you are looking for a DJ service that is going to tailor the reception to you so perfectly, be a blast to work with, and make sure you have the time of your life then Shane is your guy!

ight rocking! No one ever wanted to leave the dance floor, not even for cake! He's the best ! Looking forward to booking him again for other events !

.We had people on our dance floor that I hadn't seen dance anywhere else! He cares about his clients and wants them to have the best day, whether it's a wedding or other! Unfortunately, due to COVID, we had to postpone our wedding twice, but Shane was always there! We not only had a DJ but also a friend! Super professional but he knows how to have a good time, and makes sure everyone under the sound of his amazing skills is having a good time too! Look no further...Book him now! I can guarantee you won't regret it!!!

the dance floor was at full capacity all night long. Our wedding happened to be on the same night as game 3 of the Stanely Cup playoffs and our families are massive bruins fans. So of course we had to incorporate the game onto our wedding. Queue DJ Shane O’Mac. He played the bruins horn and goal song every time they scored and the crowd went wild. Shane is not just a DJ, he is an experience - one you can’t afford to miss. Your search for the perfect DJ stops here.

:) first off, as someone who’s biggest pet peeve is waiting for someone to answer my email, I needed vendors for my wedding who didn’t leave me hanging for days on end. As soon as I reached out, Shane was totally responsive. He kept up communication and always emailed/called when he said he would. When we had our meeting prior to the wedding, my husband and I instantly hit it off with Shane. Our wedding happened to be on one of the same nights as a Bruins playoff game & with so many Boston sports fans in our families, we wanted to be able to incorporate it somehow - SO, while DJ’ing, Shane kept an eye on the game and every time the Bruins scored, interrupted the song playing with the horn they play at the game when the B’s score - it was unreal & totally stole the show. Not only did the crowd on the floor go crazy but it brought everyone who wasn’t dancing back out on the floor with us! To take it one step even further, Shane took video the entire day & put it together for us in a fun video - totally on the house. Oh, and the music (if that’s what you’re hoping to hear about) was perfect - everything we asked for. He had everyone out on the dance floor all night - including me and my husband. We could not have asked for more! 10/10 recommend. Quality, affordability & personality are unmatched. You won’t find a better DJ for your wedding than Shane! Thank you for everything you did for us on our special day, Shane! & don’t forget, you owe us a Bruins game sometime!

at, our DJ/emcee Shane was absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. He was always so responsive and really helped us figure out what would work best any time we were indecisive. Shane took a ton of time to get to know us and made sure our wedding truly reflected our personal style. And everyone had such a great time, which was really the most important thing to us. Family and friends are still telling us how much fun they had at our wedding and giving us compliments on Shane! DJSHANEOMAC was honestly one of the best decisions we made, so seriously, if you are still looking for your DJ - STOP. You will not be disappointed! Highly HIGHLY recommend!

nd our families to have a safe gathering. So, after already rescheduling vendors once, we decided it was not worth it to continue to shift plans. My wife and I decided to have a small, intimate wedding outdoors last September with no big ceremony or reception. But, we still had a venue and a DJ booked for 5/22/2021. (We were able to work out some sort of refund agreement with all of our other vendors, but the venue refused and Shane stopped answering us.) So, when the state of RI began loosening restrictions, we began inviting friends and family to join us at our venue on 5/22 to at least get a little bit of enjoyment out of the space we had reserved. The venue was great on the day of, and our friends and family showed to celebrate, but we had not heard from Shane in months and he did not show on 5/22 even though there was a valid contract between us. It’s extremely unfortunate that after first contacting Shane about our decision late in 2020, he never offered us options to resolve our situation. His responses were spotty at best at first, sometimes not answering for weeks. And by the time this Spring came around, we simply stopped hearing from him. It would have been great to find a solution that we were all happy and comfortable with, but this was not possible with Shane refusing to answer our messages. We figured if there was any sort of positive to come out of all this, it was that we could have our DJ for our mini, very casual reception on 5/22. When we continued not to hear from Shane and did not see him on our day that he contractually agreed to perform, we felt that this is one of the worst experiences we have had with a professional. We feel that we were ignored, and eventually left paying for a service we never received. Any sort of response or explanation would have made a big difference rather than the extremely poor service that we received.

ause we really don’t know much about this industry but decided to reach out to him after seeing his reviews and work. I couldn’t have made a better decision. Shane is by far the best wedding DJ that you can get right now. He SLAYED our wedding. Dance floor packed, energy high, on time (early, actually), professional, friendly, and SUPER talented. He is affordable and this is his passion. Please, look no further. From one married couple to one engaged, please, look no further.

listened to everything we wanted and didn’t want to make the perfect playlist. We can’t recommend him highly enough!

over how much fun they had! Wouldn’t have been an amazing wedding without him! Definitely recommend!

l dances etc. He was a pleasure to work with, so professional and with a positive attitude always. Do not look elsewhere, book with Shane!

ng. Shane was very easy to work with and extremely flexible to our needs. I was receiving comments all night from our guests about how great our DJ was. I would certainly recommend Shane to anyone for any event
